Privacy Policy

Privacy information for SNAPVERE websites and download access.

Effective / last updated: 10 September 2026.

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you use the SNAPVERE website, the dedicated download page and related public services. It applies to information provided through the website and ordinary technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. It does not govern the content of screenshots you create with the SNAPVERE desktop application.

Publisher and operator
Brendigo LTD
Company No.: 16545639
Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ
United Kingdom

Where applicable, Brendigo LTD is the controller for the processing described in this Policy. Privacy correspondence may be sent to the registered office above and should identify SNAPVERE as the relevant service.

2. Information you provide

When you request access to a SNAPVERE download, you may be asked to provide an email address. The address is used to provide the requested access, maintain the integrity of the download service and help prevent automated or abusive use. Submitting an address for download access does not subscribe you to marketing communications.

Please provide an address that you are entitled to use. Temporary or disposable email services may be refused where they are commonly associated with automated abuse or repeated circumvention of access controls.

3. Technical information

Like most websites, SNAPVERE may process limited technical request information necessary to deliver pages, diagnose failures, protect availability and respond to suspicious activity. This can include information associated with a web request, such as time of access, browser or device characteristics and network-related information. Hosting providers may also generate ordinary server logs as part of operating their infrastructure.

4. Purposes of processing

Personal information is processed only for defined purposes connected with operating SNAPVERE websites and downloads. These purposes include providing requested download access, maintaining security and reliability, preventing abuse, investigating incidents, complying with applicable legal obligations and establishing or defending legal rights where necessary.

The download-access form is not a newsletter form. We will not treat an address submitted solely for download access as consent to receive promotional email. If marketing communication is introduced in the future, it should use a separate and clear opt-in where required by law.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request to provide the service, necessary for legitimate interests in securing and operating the service, or necessary to comply with a legal obligation. Where consent is legally required for a new optional purpose, that purpose will not be bundled into the basic download request.

6. Email eligibility

The download service may check whether an address is reasonably formatted and whether its domain is associated with a known temporary or disposable email service. These checks are intended to reduce automated abuse and do not guarantee that an address belongs to a particular person or that every disposable provider can be identified.

7. Download access

After an eligible request, access to the available SNAPVERE packages is provided for a limited period. Access may be refused or withdrawn where requests appear automated, abusive, technically invalid or inconsistent with these Terms and related security measures. This control is designed to protect the service and is not a user account.

8. Service providers and third-party destinations

The current public website is designed without advertising technology, behavioural profiling or third-party analytics embedded for marketing purposes.

9. International transfers

Internet services may involve processing in more than one country. Where Brendigo LTD makes a restricted international transfer of personal data, an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism will be used where required. Third-party providers are responsible for their own processing under their applicable terms.

10. Retention

Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, operational, legal and dispute-resolution needs. Retention periods may vary where a longer or shorter period is required by law, necessary to investigate misuse, or appropriate to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

11. Cookies and site preferences

The SNAPVERE website is designed without advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. Language versions use distinct URLs, so the current public website does not need to store a browser preference merely to remember the selected language. For more information, see the Cookie Policy.

12. SNAPVERE desktop application

SNAPVERE is designed as a local-first Windows capture utility. Current capture workflows do not require a SNAPVERE account or cloud service to capture a region, window or screen. Files remain under the user's control unless the user chooses to copy, move, upload or share them using another application or service.

13. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect the website and download service against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration and disruption. No internet service can be guaranteed absolutely secure, and users should also protect their own devices, browsers and email accounts.

14. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, together with rights to obtain information about processing. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exemptions. Requests may be sent in writing to the registered office above.

15. Children

The SNAPVERE website and desktop utility are general-purpose software services and are not specifically directed at children. If you believe personal information relating to a child has been submitted in circumstances that require special handling, contact the operator using the details above.

16. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated when the website, download process, service providers, legal requirements or processing purposes change. The effective date shown on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy.

17. Complaints

If you have a concern about how personal information is handled, please contact Brendigo LTD first so the matter can be reviewed. Where UK data-protection law applies, you may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Other supervisory authorities may be available depending on your location and applicable law.
