1. Scope
These Download & Software Terms apply when you request, obtain or use an official SNAPVERE release package through the SNAPVERE websites. They supplement the Website Terms of Use and the licences distributed with the software.

2. Download access
You may be asked to provide a valid permanent email address before the available packages are shown. Temporary or disposable email services may be refused. The email request is used to provide access and protect the download service; it does not create a marketing subscription.
3. Choosing a package
The current SNAPVERE release provides two universal Windows packages: Setup and Portable. Both contain x86, x64 and ARM64 support and automatically select a compatible application payload on supported Windows systems.
4. System requirements
The current application targets Windows 10 version 1809 or later, including supported Windows 11 systems. Some capture paths require newer Windows capabilities. Requirements can change between versions, so check the release information for the version you download.
5. Setup
The Setup package provides the standard installed experience for the current Windows user and integrates with Windows Installed apps. The default installation is designed not to require administrator privileges. The same Setup application manages installation and removal; SNAPVERE intentionally does not rely on a separate standalone uninstaller executable.
6. Portable
The Portable package is intended for users who prefer to run SNAPVERE without a traditional installation. It does not create the same Installed apps entry as Setup, and the package includes the components needed for the supported portable experience.
7. Package integrity
Official releases publish SHA-256 information so you can compare a downloaded file with the expected digest. If a package fails verification, do not run it. Obtain a fresh copy from the official release location and verify it again.
8. Code signing
The current v0.0.8 public binaries are not Authenticode-signed. Windows may therefore display additional reputation or publisher warnings. This does not replace the need to verify the package origin and SHA-256 information before execution.
9. Software licence
SNAPVERE 0.0.7 and later are distributed under the SNAPVERE Commercial Software License Agreement unless a specific version expressly states otherwise. All rights not expressly granted by the applicable licence are reserved.
10. Updates and replacement releases
A newer release may replace or supersede an older one. We may withdraw or replace a package if a security, integrity, compatibility or quality issue is identified. Users should prefer the most recent supported release unless they have a specific reason to use an older version.
11. User responsibility
You are responsible for using SNAPVERE lawfully and for deciding whether you are permitted to capture, keep or share information shown on your screen. A screenshot can contain confidential, personal, copyrighted or regulated information. Use appropriate care before copying or sharing it.
12. Protected content
Operating systems, enterprise policies, secure desktops, protected media and other technical controls may prevent or alter capture. SNAPVERE does not promise to bypass such restrictions, and you must not use the software to circumvent protections where doing so is prohibited.
13. Availability
Download availability can be affected by maintenance, security measures, hosting and network conditions. We may temporarily limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or replace a package.
14. Warranty and statutory rights
The software and downloads are provided subject to the applicable licence and mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights or other statutory protections that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Changes
These Terms may be updated when packaging, download access, system requirements, licensing or legal requirements change. The effective date on this page identifies the current published version.
