A capture utility that stays out of the way

SNAPVERE starts silently in the Windows notification area instead of keeping a launcher window open. Use the tray icon or keyboard shortcuts only when you need a capture.

Region Capture

Drag a physical-pixel selection on the frozen screen, move or resize it, annotate it, then copy or save it.

Window Capture

Pick a visible top-level window with DPI-aware geometry and capture it through the Windows Graphics Capture path.

Screen Capture

Capture the primary display with Windows Graphics Capture when available and a compatibility fallback for expected acquisition failures.

Inline annotation

Move, Pen, Line, Arrow, Box and Highlight are rendered into the final image. Undo and multiple annotation colors are included.

Tray-first workflow

Left-click starts Region Capture immediately. Right-click opens compact quick actions, recent captures, preferences and About.

Local-first privacy

Current capture workflows do not upload screenshot pixels, recent-capture history or user files to analytics or telemetry services.

Actual workflow

From tray to finished capture in seconds

These product illustrations document implemented behavior. They are workflow illustrations, not pixel-identical Windows screenshots.

01

Start immediately

Left-click the SNAPVERE tray icon or press Print Screen. Region Capture opens directly, without a dashboard in between.

Shortcuts

Fast from the keyboard, too

Print Screen is the primary Region Capture key. If Windows or another application owns it, SNAPVERE keeps an independent fallback hotkey.

FAQ

Common questions

Does SNAPVERE require an account?

No. Core capture has no account or cloud dependency.

Where are screenshots saved?

Saved captures go to Pictures\SNAPVERE. Uninstall does not delete that folder.

Are the v0.0.8 binaries signed?

No. The public v0.0.8 executables are currently unsigned. Verify the downloaded file against the SHA-256 values published on the official download page when you need additional integrity assurance.

Does SNAPVERE support scrolling capture or OCR?

Not yet. Scrolling capture, OCR, automatic updates, Authenticode signing and several annotation tools are intentionally deferred instead of being shown as unfinished UI.
